That covers a first apartment honestly, the builder above only adds items when your floors, surfaces or habits genuinely call for them.
Honestly, no, but a good all-purpose spray covers more than most people expect: counters, tables, switches, doors and most sealed surfaces. Where it stops: glass wants a streak-free method, limescale needs an acid-based remover, mould needs a targeted treatment, and marble or natural stone needs the exact opposite, a pH-neutral formula. Four or five well-chosen basics beat a cupboard of overlapping bottles.
On some surfaces, yes. Diluted vinegar works on glass, taps and most ceramic tiles, and baking soda is a gentle scrub for sinks and pots. But never use vinegar or any acid on marble or natural stone. It etches the polish permanently, and go easy on grout lines, because acid slowly eats grout sealant. When in doubt, plain water and a microfibre cloth are safer than the wrong chemistry.
Wash microfibre cloths after each session and retire them when they stop gripping dust and start pushing it around, usually every few months. Mop heads and pads need replacing roughly every two to three months in Malaysian humidity, sooner if they smell musty even after washing. A stale mop doesn’t clean a floor; it redistributes dirty water across it.
